#do i need an SSD Drive and an NVME Drive
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
ye sure hold on
It depends on how much storage you need. The Solid State Drive is a sata 2.5” which will have lower write speeds, but is usually used for bulk storage where write speed is a low priority
im okay with 1 TB
but i dont know which one to get/which one is better
if having both an NVME and an SSD is really good then i could also take that
What are you using this pc for?
gaming
Hmmmm
Really it’s up to you. It looks like the sata SSD has qvo ssds, which are qlc, so not the best write endurance.
ok
ig ill get the ssd since i see alot of people getting it
also
one more question
what do you need to add to get wifi on the pc?
You can get a usb wifi adapter, an m.2 e-Keyed Wi-Fi card, or a pcie wifi card
2 sticks
When first buying a pc, always get 2 sticks unless you absolutely need 128GB+ of ram
Yeah, it looks fine
2.5G lan?
2.5G LAN: Upgraded network solution for professional and multimedia use. Delivers a secure, stable and fast network connection
ye
What motherboard
That’s wired only
What motherboard?
MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus: ATX w/ USB 3.2, 2x M.2
A wireless network adapter
Yeah. I’d probably get the intel one
is the most expensive one not the best lol?
Do you need 3Gb/s wifi?
Well, Wi-Fi 6e could be useful, but I’m guessing you don’t have it yet, so it’s not useful to get it now
alr thanks for the help
Without the adapter? I don’t think so. Lemme check for sure tho
Yeah I don’t think it has wifi
Grab that intel ax200
Yep (assuming it has drivers. It probably will because of being a prebuilt)
alr
is there any way to check if it has drivers
this is what it says about the intel one
There are drivers available for that adapter, it just depends on if the prebuilt manufacturer installs them. They almost certainly will because you want wifi
