The CPU is compatible with the motherboard. Does the rest check out or did I get something wrong?

the cooler wont be the wraith prism but the wraith stealth, the stealth wasnt on the page so i just used that one as filler
The 1600 comes with the wrath so what was the point
Have you bought any parts yet?
And what’s your total budget?
@fervent sparrow
200
planning to buy the ram used
motherboard psu and ssd are the ones id rather not buy used
pcpartpicker shows the prices vey high but the case psu motherboard and ssd are about 185€
on amazon
200 in euros btw idk how much thatd change in usd or £
What country are you in?
germany
is there something inherently wrong with the setup
i feel like the only weak point is the motherboard but i dont understand all that compatability shit etc and after some research i chose that one
imo the weak point is the 1600
from experience 😔
zen 1 kinda shit tbh
that too but i did do my research and imo its enough for me
i also considered the 5 4500 since its really cheap atm but i saw that its not compatible with the mb without bios update so i just went for the 1600
it really hurts my poor rx 6600
yea but the rx6600 is much better than my gpu and as said im fine with the performance since i got a really good deal on it as well
i could upgrade at some point but for now its more than enough for me
is the setup fine? compatibility shouldnt be an issue and i tried finding the best bang for your buck components that still were reliable
the case should fit everything as well
and i used a bunch of those wattage calculators and i shouldnt need more than 400w and 450w seems good enough with a lot of headroom
im not gonna play anything more demanding than GTA V and id be fine with playing on low settings aswell
Yeah
Theres a german version of pc part picker
there is?
Yes
eh doesnt really matter now
i put the new components into my amazon list already so ik the prices
You can get a few of the parts cheaper not on amazon
i put in the same setup and its the cheapest on amazon still
How about this ssd instead? https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/qBVmP6/kioxia-exceria-g2-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-lrc20z001tg8
is it better than the crucial? or just more space
my idea was to get a ssd with 500 and later when i need it install a hdd with a few tb just so i can load all the useless stuff on there yk?
id probaby stick with the p5 plus
is there anything else
psu seems good enough as said
the case is just preference
and it does fit the hardware
I wouldn’t, you get 1tb for the same price as a 500gb P5 Plus
And all nvmes are fast enough that it wont even matter about the speed
Kioxia excercia is better
ok
ive never heard of kioxia so i was unsure
it is compatible with the motherboard right?
M.2 slot = yes
Yes
aight
i just found out the motherboard slows down PCIe 4.0 ssds down to PCIe 3.0 and transfer speeds are slowed to 4000mb/s or slower
so the p5 plus wouldnt have any advantage at all right?
It would but just barely
so how fast would the p5 plus actually be if it normally runs around 6500 mb/s
If it gets downgraded to PCIe gen3, it'll go down to 4000MB/s reads and 3500MB/s writes as this is the max that PCIe gen 3 can do
