I would recommend getting a laptop with at least 16GB of RAM, 8GB isn't enough for games anymore. Do you need it to last for 8h of time or for 8h of screen-on time?

Personally I use this laptop. Mainly for school work and writing papers, but it can do ok medium 1080p gaming, especially in games with DLSS. Only drawback for pure gaming - No mux switch. Not really an issue otherwise. Little more expensive, but it may go on sale for black friday
