#CAD - New Build - $3000~ish Budget

If its just for gaming, the 7800x3D would be a better choice tbh. Fastest cpu money can buy rn
Just read up on it, I guess the 7900X3D only lets half the cores use the extra cache, not all of them like with the 7800X3D. Memory Express has some bundles with an ROG Strix board, saves $215 https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/BDL_MM00003464
Case and cooler wise, suggestions? Opinions anyone?
Once you build the computer, do you think it'll be likely that it won't be touched for a couple years?
as in, changing parts? mostly likely not
yeah, if in a year or two you're upgrading the CPU, adding RAM or storage, or if the goal is to just build it once until it's fully replaced again
current computer, only thing I've done to it since being built was adding an m.2 ssd and upgrading RAM since the original sticks had one fail
Yeah, built once until its fully replaced
