what does the text say
It’s just the pop up everytime my monitor gets no signal.
So like… when I manually shut down my PC, that pop ups shows up before my monitors shut off
but it does it randomly
have you tried reseating all the cables?
display, gpu power, monitor power
Like unplugging & plugging everything back in? I haven’t. I’ll do that asap
Yeah

Hey, I had something like that happen for a while to me too. I was never able to properly diagnose it (I think i had multiple issues).
It could be that your GPU is overheating and enabling like a safety mode. It shuts off the display out (so it doesnt have to work any harder) then ramps the fans up to cool itself down.
You should check temps in game and see how hot it is getting. You could also try going into either the MOBO BIOS or the GPU's drivers or settings and seeing if you can disable the overtemp protection or whatever it is specifically called. Now, I don't know if I would recommend this because it is a safety feature, but you know. If the temps are reasonable and its still doing it, then you can disable.
You can also try running without your side panel on. Get more airflow over the pc or even stick a small deskfan in front of it with side panel off see if it still has that behavior where video shuts down.
If that turns out to be your issue, you may want to look into more fans and/or higher quality/more powerful fans.
Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. I wasn't sure if my GPU was overheating so I downloaded hwinfo64 to monitor temps while I was gaming. I watched it for about an hour and the hottest it got was 72 degrees. So I genuinely don't know why it does that...
As far as disabling an overtemp feature, I'm not seeing anyting on Geforce Experience's performance tab... so idk where that would be... I can prob look around in the BIOS
Well your bios may have one, but for your CPU. Look at your CPU temps too.
You may also want to press Windows button and go to the reliability monitor. See if it says what's going on, if system failure or Windows failure etc.
CPU temps are about the same... hottest was 76 degrees
Hmm got up to 72 but didn't crash?
You can try running it and just wait for it to fail, though I don't know how to pull the data if the screen goes out. Maybe hwinfo can record or something, where you can see it when PC loads back up.
looking in reliability monitor now
yeah that's not too hot. I stayed around 60-68 degrees for the most part on high settings
I'm also thinking...
Well if it didn't crash that may just mean it didnt get too hot yet. Try to run it in your games, maybe if you plan a long gaming session or if it happens more in certain games etc
I have a 4080 with a 850w PSU you think it may not be getting enough power? idk lol
