#Does sudden shutdown can damage my hardware?

If you have HDDs even if they have security for that it's not impossible that a power cut can damage it, but don't worry it's really rare. For the rest you are fine.
It depends, considering they are changing out the wires it isn't impossible that someone does some stupid shit and causes a power surge;
I'd recommend unplugging basically any expensive electronic that you care about until they are finished, just to be safe
If you do use anything, make sure it's through a surge protector
Definitely get a surge protector, sudden shutdowns are not good for electrical components. You can cause damage to your system.
Thanks for the replies guys ๐
I have ups so I guess I'm protected from power surges.
Everyone has very different opinions on this matter so it made me confused. This happens very rarely my ups give me enough time to shut down but if the system is on full load then my ups can't headle even for 10secs.
I'd it's rarely you are fine, definitely happen to everyone. Manufacturers thought about this don't worry.
Yes,
But sometimes I overthink.... I thought it will be good if we discuss here.
Hmmm I don't think I need bigger UPS because it gives me enough to react but on full load it didn't. I just do gaming so its fine. It is fine if it happens rarely.
