Hey, so I bought my pc roughly 1.5 years ago, and in the past 2 weeks, when i'm playing games randomly (sometimes very frequently) my displays turn black, my PCs fans go max speed and I have to restart my pc to fix the problem only for it to happen again, was wondering if anyone here had come across this before and knows a fix!

Sounds like PC is overheating either CPU or GPU seems to be most likely culprits. Have you monitored temps? Hwinfo would be smart to look into
My cpu is always sitting at around 50 degrees, my GPU sits at around 75 degrees
What does your Event Viewer say after a crash?
I just had a similar/the same issue, and it magically fixed itself. After a lot of trouble-shooting, I put my friend's GPU into my PC, and downloaded drivers for it. PC restarted during driver install which I found odd. But then I put my own GPU back in, downloaded drivers, and it magically worked again. Went from being able to play RDR2 for 30 seconds, and then to 1 hour with no hitches.
I had previously clean installed like 10 different drivers and nothing changed, so something broken "reset" with that other GPU in my system.
Hey so I believe i've fixed the problem
i haven't had a crash in a few days
I downloaded a software
that wiped the drivers and my GPU
from my pc
and since everything has been okay
so when updating drivers something must have messed up
I'm not sure how to close this
Yep I reckon that probably would’ve worked for me as well. I just wanted to test if another GPU worked in my system and it fixed itself by over-writing some broken stuff
Update - I am still getting the issue
I get this error pop up in my event viewer
not sure if it has anything to do with it
