I wanna build a new PC, as mine starts to struggle even with "basic" tasks.

I wanna go with team blue + green for personal reasons.

Main use will be VR & 4k gaming, but I also have a browser with way too many tabs open at all times.

Is there anything obvious I should change in here (Mainly PSU/MOBO/Cooler/Case)

I don't technically have a budget limit, but I also don't want to overpay for components that will be obsolete in 3-5 years - 4090 is almost 2 times more expensive than 4080 and I was debating the 4070ti anyway.

Ignore the windows, I'll probably just take the key from the current PC, but I put it in there, in case I change my mind

Idc about swapping MOBO. I've had too many problems with AMD in the past, both on the CPU and GPU front.

I can just sell the components later and get some money back, so I really don't mind the small loss, as long as the current build is good enough to justify it

Cooler + Case were pretty much the best based on the reviews I saw online, hence getting them. Idc if they're on the more expensive side, but I need the best cooling I can get. It gets really hot in the supper over here

Maybe the reviews are kind of outdated though, that's why I created the thread in the first place

I currently have a Cooler Master 212, I could just take it out and put it into the new build, but in the summer it's just too weak

The 212 could do it just fine I think, but depending on when you bought it you might come to find out that you don’t have a bracket that fits LGA 1700

I was just too lazy to actually choose the correct ones. I cared more about the slots than the drives themselves
