970 evo plus rn is more expensive than 980 pro, but 980 pro is a lot better in terms of speeds so what's better?

i see a lot of people using the 970 evo plus instead of the 980 pro

atm, gen 4 (which is what the 980 pro is) does not offer any real world benefit unless you copy/move files around a lot.

the 970 evo is gen 3, which is still more than fast enough for something like a game drive
