it looks like I didn't miss much then, but I still appreciate that you finally started streaming yourself building this thing. When I built my PC, I also streamed it to a small Discord server but had to end that pretty quickly because I dropped the CPU into the socket lol

but it ended up being fine, only a total of 4 pins were bent and they were only bent downwards. The computer did work, but I ended up replacing the motherboard when the RAM failed for the first time in the end of june (I built it in the end of april). Then, each failure has taken less and less to happen, the last instance only taking a week

yeah, it's weird. It's always been the stick in slot B2, the one in slot A2 has always been fine with the exception of the first time where it would only boot with XMP off, but every other time it just worked fine

I really don't know what's going on. Will try putting them in A1 and B1 when I get the temporary troubleshooting PSU back out and get the RAM replaced again

I'm also hoping that 50 series won't be as overpriced as 40 series was. Plus hopefully the lower-end skus can get a VRAM bump as that has not really gone up. The 1060 had 6GB, the 2060 had 6GB too as well as the 3060. The 4060 finally got 8GB, so maybe the 5060/5060Ti can have 10 or 12GB, I'm really hoping for that. If they do, I'm getting one immediately (unless they're overpriced again)

What's also weird is the power my gaming laptop draws from its battery. At idle with the GPU off and the CPU at 2.5-3W, the laptop draws around 13-14W from its battery. At 25W on the CPU, it draws over 50W from the battery. I did clean the fans with a vacuum twice (which is what you're not supposed to do) and the second time when I went to re-connect the battery, there was a spark)
