#my clevo laptop only works on external monitor after update

I custom installed a new graphics driver as this one was buggy not being able to do 30fps @ 1080p so I updated and for 2 years now it only been able to work on external monitors even tho in Nvidia control panel and settings it shows as the main display.

Specs:

Intel core i7 4790 which after doing a clean install of Windows now magically controls it's clock speed.

Geforce gtx 980M used to run as fast as a 750ti and 103°c peak temp but after moving it over a ledge the fans stay at a cool 65°c peak and runs at 200fps

16 GB Crucial ballistic ddr3-1867MHz (sodimm)

3 drives

C: Kingston 120gb SATA ssd

D: Samsung 2TB hard drive

E: WD blue 500gb hard drive

Wi-fi

62Mbps Vodafone

You have given us all information appart from the more helpful driver version and the model of monitor

No model it's just generic pnp monitor 4k 60fps and the driver is the newest as I have geforce experience

Have you tried using DDU to completely remove all drivers?
