Just gotta stalk eBay for a replacement
And, despite what some think, it’s actually not as “dangerous” as supposed
If you don’t get what you ordered, eBay will refund you
Problem is I'm in Azerbaijan shipment costa 5x what I'll be paying for something like this XD
And yes it's GTX 580 it's incredible how you just nailed it only by looking at some small part of PCB
It literally says it on the bottom right. Nvidia Corporation, model P1261
ohhh
yeah makes sense
Either way, this isn't something I would try and salvage. The type of tools, skills and components needed for this is are beyond average consumer paycheck.
A technician could repair it sure, but it will most likely be so expensive that it's not worth it.
ah well I was thinking of getting some tools for working on electronics when I get my hands on them I might try fixing it myself I have spare parts in my hand I only need hot air fan and a multimeter
Unless you have a degree in electrical engineering and have a basic understanding of how graphics cards work and happen to have exactly the right components at hand, you will need a lot more than just a multimeter and a soldering iron xd
ah well what do I have to lose ? there's no harm in learning right ?
XD
