#can someone help me build a gaming pc
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
What form factor you want?
does not matter to me atx preferred
Do you got a preference for the cpu?
intel probably because the drivers on the ryzen 😭
I’ll see what I can do
I’ve never made an Intel build tho
okay!
i can do ryzen too
Alright
@golden depot this build is probably awful https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LxTfvj
Part List - Intel Core i5-13400, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower
thank u
OP already got these in another channel just tossing them in so no one feels like they need to take similar pass.
(But if not ordering quickly, and the CPU & case code/rebate die, a different case & CPU are worth looking into)

@golden depot How about this? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zdzrDZ
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Montech AIR 903 BASE ATX Mid Tower
Gpu has white/blue leds btw
Do you live near a microcentre?
$670 for a 4070 is a scam
Thus why I made the second more budget build with a 7800xt.
Msrp is $600 and some are as low as $525
White 4070s are literally $550 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rdMMnQ/msi-ventus-2x-oc-geforce-rtx-4070-12-gb-video-card-rtx-4070-ventus-2x-white-12g-oc
In tc2 OP didn't say the Mobo and GPU don't need to be white.
I'm quite happy with the 7800xt build thanks for the input.
Yeah don’t get the nvidea gpus
That’s terrible just because of case and gpu
And the ddr4
You’d be responsible for the deaths of 100 unicorns when you buy that kit
Yeah
what
the drivers are hard to download when u first build the pc cs u have to have the usb drive and all that
?
none of this is relevant to the cpu
are you talking about flashing bios?
No?
It applies to both equally
Not an issue anyways if you get the right board
i haven’t seen anyone talking about updating their motherboard for intel
b660’s and z690’s on 13th gen?
i always js go the current gen of motherboards
then bios wouldn’t be an issue period
on either side
You wouldn’t
not even to support 3d
it can use the same bios as the rest of the 7000 series
so what cpu should i do with a $1500 build with a 4070
Amd has more vram
That can happen with any card
ik i js prefer it 😭😭
Amd is cheaper and better for almost everything
What are you planning to do with it
Intel is cheaper than amd
Big brain
i js do ☠️
Well and is your better option if your okay with wasting money then cool go nvidea
kinda vague statement
Lmao I meant for gpus
Ik
Yeah
Intel offers more for less
i thought it isnt bc a 13600k is $317 and a 7600 is around $220
I’m talking about gpus lol
ohh
i don’t recall arc cards being too viable outside of canada
They are now I believe
No still bad value
Which card are you referring to
Literally picked the 13600K for you because especially with that $35 code makes it cheaper than the AMD equivalent currently.
A770
I think maybe
Idk
I think I’m completely wrong tho
Cause the a770 is like $300 I think
Oh
none of which appear to be very viable
Mb
Eh
The a750 is better than the rx6600
They’re on par
And the a750 is cheaper
Well it depends
,,no it’s not
If it’s optimized for the a750
Ugh this is exactly why them changing build-a-pc to a forum was a horrible idea.
??
????
It’s not
$213 for the cheapest a750
thats $229
the a750 isn’t beating a 6650xt in anything
maybe diffusion or RT
but I doubt it
Eh
Tbf the cpu being used is Intel
YT benchmarks are comically unreliable
I think you just don’t like arcs 💀
I think you’re overestimating arc cards
I think you’re just a hater
Intel arc is too immature to buy right now
You should avoid it
No, they’re right. I love the concept of Intel Arc but the drivers are too unstable and the product itself is way too immature right now.
They are same price and same performance except almost every situation a 6600 wins because of better optimization
Oh
So on paper they have the same but in the real word 6600 is like 15% better
