-Samsung Odyssey G3 165hz VA no HDR support.
-LG Ultragear 144hz IPS + HDR10 support .

Samsung has contrast rate of 3000:1 while LG 1000:1
Samsung wins in every comparison except for HDR
but after watching reviews a lot of people say that Samsung has a lot of ghosting issues and black smearing due to being VA
so I am kinda confused about which one to get and if it worth sacrificing the samsung features for ultragear

btw my gpu is 3060ti 8gb if it matters

I have a friend using the G3 and it's absolutely amazing. Some modern titles have HDR support, so that is a pro of the LG. But since they say the G3 has ghosting issues I would personally go for the LG because you won't really notice any difference between 144hz and 165hz. Although the higher contrast ratio will be nice for gaming.

Well you won't really notice it until you play something with HDR, but when you do, it will be like it's in real life.

With the 3060 you will be probably able to take advantage of it very well.

The biggest jumps are from 60hz to 144hz and 144hz to 540hz
