The thing is that you're using Furmark to measure the hotspot temperature. So of course it's going to run significantly hotter than if you were gaming, hitting 88°c in Furmark is still within spec.

the ss attached to my post is from playing gta 5

during games where gpu is 100% all the time the hotspot still goes to over 84 degrees

yes but other people with same cards report 10 degrees lower hotspot temps

I would only start to worry if it went to 90°c above

There are so many variables that can affect the type of temperatures you reach with your card.
