Yes, SSDs have gotten a lot cheaper over the years. Only 6 years ago you would've had to pay up to 300€ for just 1TB SATA SSD. In this case the base price looks about right for a Gen3 M.2 SSD of that capacity on sale as there are 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSDs for sale starting at 60€ or so.
