if you are trying to use your gpu, you can't plug the cable into your motherboard

if you buy an adapter make sure it supports 144hz, or you could probably find a dp to dvi cable

ye ill get an active adapter, someone had the swme monitor and issue as me and it fixed it

nah it has to be strictly dual link dvi d

so ill plug the dvi d cable into my monitor and to the adapter, then a display port cable from the adapter to my gpu

9900KF "F" means no integrated GPU so you won't have any display coming from your motherboard use the one on the GPU
