my previous graphics card just died and i changed to my old one but forgot to purge drivers now it wont let me boot into linux or safe mode or secure boot - fixed

What are the specs?

i3 10105f gtx 670 and an msi motherboard idk which

after it gets to the screen above it does nothing

This far into boot you may be lucky enough to be able to switch to a TTY and install nouveau (open-source nvidia) drivers, if not you're going to need to use a live boot drive and chroot into your current install to do the same thing

Just make sure that you remove the currently installed drivers before installing nouveau

That’s why I asked your specs. You had an “F” cpu so I knew that wouldnt work
