I don’t know what to do and could really use some help
If anyone knows an alternative way to get a bootable windows usb drive on a mac that would also be helpful
What format type is your usb?
Have you tried a different usb port?
Okay just to get those out the way
Format the usb to Fat32
Then open the windows ISO folder on your Mac
Then just copy all files over to usb
Considering you're using a mac you're going to need to use parallels, UTM, or any other virtual machine software in order to run windows, pass the flash drive to the vm, and then use any windows tool to do it (rufus, ventoy, balena etcher, etc..)
So use a vm?
Just copying the contents of the iso won't work properly without extra steps that are a massive pain to do in macOS, blame apple
Ye
Is there a good free one you know of?
You can always just use the free trial for parallels, it's the most seamless and simple way of going about it
Otherwise the only software I've used was UTM, a little more tinker heavy but works
I tryed urn but it took about an hour to start and said it was missing system 34 so I couldn’t use it
