#RTX 4080 vs 7900 XTX

well lets look at the numbers, as far as game fps is concerned at 1080p and 1440p the 7900xtx seems to lead slightly ahead of the 4080
when we run over to raytracing and general cuda applications the 4080 leads ahead with the added benefit of ai tensor that amd simply doesnt have
however this is all with a markup of about $100-200 usd based on what aib you get
for streaming it really depends on your encoding method and application
could either be more cpu or gpu dependent
generally with hardware encoding nvidia has proven more favorable over the years but amd is not necessarily bad
and if you are concerned about nvidia being "slightly easier to set up" its not the case, both gpus are just as easy to setup and use their respective application software and both softwares have similar functions, with amd offering slightly more game filter options
I don‘t know if this will help anyone, but I got a 6950XT, and had no problems with streaming. Same for recordings, 240FPS 90K bitrate is no problem.
Which resolution do you have?
..they're the same "easy" to setup
ur just believing the lie (that used to be true) of amd having really bad drivers
still is kinda true
ive got an rx 7900 xt
and had quite a few driver issues
and also there was a visual glitch with rocket league for over a month due to the amd drivers but idk if theyve fixed that yet
