so i have a ASROCK A320M/AC motherboard with a Ryzen 3 3100 cpu, im trying to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700G cpu, ive upgraded the bios to 7.0 and then 7.10 as instructed by the manufacture, but when i make the switch, nothing boots up, the pc will turn on along with the RGB lights, but no monitor, no mouse and key, nothing. i have to put back the old cpu in order for my pc to properly turn on, but im just having trouble upgrading that, it says its compatible but idk if thats 100% true. can anyone help?
#idk how to upgrade my pc

The amd cpu with igpu need 7.2 not 7.1
But if your updating you should go to latest not bata bios
And hope you got good ram since the g CPU’s have 50% of the cache
I have two 16g vulcanz for 32g
What speed I have seen 4800 ram stable in 1to1 on a Cezanne cpu
Where the normal amd cpu max out around 3800 1to1
They’re 4200 right now with the old ryzen 3 cpu in.
With just plan xmp
No clue, I plugged them in when I got them and that’s what they were set to automatically.
You were right, I had to update to 7.2, even though the manufacturer website says 7.1. Omg thank you so much, I’ve been trying to deal with this for over a week!
No the bios list saying 7.1 for all using chiplets and 7.2 for monolithic chips
