from gaming benchmarks I've seen, the 6950xt is only -5% to 30% slower at raytracing performance compared to the rtx 4070. What nvidia gpu would this put it on par with in terms of performance?
(7900xt is basically on par with the rtx 4070 in raytracing as far as i have seen)

Not because the raytracing cores are as good but it’s because the rasterization fps is so much better that it becomes the same fps

But it is 650w and B tier in the tierlist, I've had many people say that I should be fine, and others who run the same with no problems.

The 7900 xtx was kinda meh when it first came out but now it’s improved and started to become a real contender to nvidia

Well, if I can't run the 6950xt stably, or am interested in the latest gen I might consider going for the 7800xt
But on the other hand I dont see any reasons to go for it over the rtx 4070

But i have only used it in cyberpunk, and (short lived) minecraft bedrock

The glass is hot to the touch I sorta wanna water cool it so it gets pulled straight out of the case
