hello, i was told when installing games etc, to leave about 10% free space, my ssd is 500gb, but in windows i only have 465 usable, so do i need to leave more, or does that 35gb "wasted" account for keeping the ssd fast. so leave about 15gb of 465gb free (plus 35 gb) or is that only use about 400gb because the 35gb is just wasted space

i beleive I may bee wrong that the 35gb is revserved for you os by windows Also what ssd so you have. IF you look at Ram it will show slightly less because it is reserved for the os(winodws)

the main reason the 10% free rule exists is so that ssd/the os as space to do its internal stuff
