Hey guys, I need urgent help. ๐
I have a flight the day after tomorrow and I am taking my PC components with me. I am a noob so I hired a guy to dismantle the PC for me. He left some wires on the Cabinet itself saying "those are Cabinet wires, they're attached to the Cabinet" so we left them there. But I really doubt it now.
Can someone please take a look at these wires and let me know where they belong and if I should take them?
Those are mainly for front IO. There's USB-C, USB3.0 and front audio. Every other connector there is meant for fans. None of these are any use to you, so you better just leave them behind.
Thank you so much. So none are related to the GPU and PSU, right? Even the big, wide cable?
None.
I am taking my 3 external Sickleflow fans (that go on the front) with me, are the cables related to them? The cabinet has just one fan (on the top).
The fan cable appears to be a fan splitter. You would want to double check how many fan headers you have on your motherboard. If your motherboard has at least three fan headers then it won't be necessary.
Yeah, you won't need the splitter either
Thank you ๐
So yeah, none of the cables in that picture earlier are needed.
Now I'm wondering why they were there in the first place ๐
I explained here.
No. They come with the case.
