Did you set the boot option correctly?
And can you get to BIOS?
power button does nothing (after the bios updte, or before it)
SO if your PC doesn't post, then there's a different problem
what could it be
So you said it doesn't post at all?
does post mean like start
power button does nothing
like no lights or no fans spin when i press it (psu is on)
I will also need the exact mobo model to be able to judge if they're plugged in correctly
you're not plugged in right as far as I can tell
which one might be in a wrong spot
this cable im kinda weirded out by
the manual makes no sence
Can you unplug and short the pins with a screwdriver?
like hold a screwdriver on them?
So unplug the FP cable and make sure to use a screwdriver to make contact between the power switch pins
and do i put usb stick in
but my friend said that nothing will happen
Do make sure to plug a Keyboard and screen in and start spamming delete if it turns on
because the pc has not "operating system"
Ahh you can get to BIOS
I mean you can get to BIOS if the PC posts
That's why you should spam delete if the fans start spinning
should i hold it on the pins
or like lightly hover above
i dont want to get like electrocuted or something
Make direct contact with the two that are labeled Power_Switch
So when facing it form the front, the 3rd and 4th pin in the upper row from the left
It says PW
so i hold the screwdriver there and then what
It should turn on, then you can remove it
Turn it around slightly and see if it works (so like wiggle it a little). May be that they don't make contact properly
When building a PC open-air, I always use a screw driver to turn it on. Sometimes screwdrivers also have electrically insulated (especially Philips head). If you have a flathead one, try that
Okay, then verify that you have the 24-pin and 8-pin EPS cable plugged in all the way. Can you additionally give me some more specs for your PC? PSU, CPU, GPU?
Now there's probably a hardware problem
But you did update the BIOS you said?
If the PC didn't turn on, how would you have done that, also that board doesn't have BIOS flashback afaik
It has damn
Why did you update the BIOS in the first place?
Can you try to update it once again?
friend said it could be something about like old update not supporting the parts
What's your CPU?
ryzen 7 5800x3d
