Hello guys!
So currently I'm running GeForce GTX 1050ti on my pc with Intel Core i3-10100f with 16GB ram (2x8)
My question is that I'm looking for a new GPU and I want to find it compatible with my CPU so I don't get bottleneck and overall I don't want to buy a video card way superior to my CPU. Overall something that's better than the 1050ti and to make the newest game run smooth (I've played high end games like Cyberpunk and RDR2 but with little stuttering) I've seen people suggest RX6600 or RX6500 XT, but I would like to hear some other opinions even if they might be the same.

you can always upgrade to a 20 series as well for example a 2060 RTX maybe
but depending on what games you play it can be that they aren't GPU heavy but CPU heavy
and what is the speed of your RAM because that might also be a cheap upgrade you can do to make your pc run a little bit better
hope this was helpfull
my ram is G Skill Aegis
3200 mhz
I'm currently looking a comparison between RTX 2060 and RX6600 and overall the RX looks better
plus it is cheaper than the 2060 at least in my country
haha well then it is an easy decision xD
yeah I've mostly been towards deciding for RX6600 but wanted to hear more experienced opinion 😄
i mean it all depends on the money you wanna spend
and if you wanna buy new or if your oke with 2nd hand GPU's
because if you can find yourself a 3060 that will work like beast but i imagine it'll be a lot more then the RX6600
If i can spend money for better performance for a lower price then i think its okay tho my issue is that i haven't got much experience with AMD GPU's and don't know if they good
i think 3060 is way too powerful for my CPU
the thing is i don't wanna replace my CPU at least for a couple of years
tho its better to have a better GPU than CPU nowadays
watch the LTT vid about it i'm sure they made one when they came out see what they were saying then

AMD made the curious decision to very quietly launch a graphics card today – The Radeon RX 6600. Why would they not announce it? Does AMD have any confidence in i...
i think this one don't remember all vids anymore but this seems to be about the RX6600
i'm kinda scared of buying second hand pc parts tho i think i found a 2060 for a reasonably cheap price
well that's understandable as your cpu is 10th gen so it should last you a couple of years but even if you'd bottleneck your GPU now when you upgrade you won't be stuck with a gpu that is then not strong enough
but if you wanna start saving up for a whole new build in the future then i would go with a lower cost gpu for now and enjoy the next couple of years until your new major investment
yeah that's a choice you'll have to make it's always a risk i haven't done it myself so can't speak out of personal expierence on this one
found a 3060 for 270 USD (i've converted it from my currency)
in my currency it's half a thousand overall
i'm gonna watch videos plus performance videos coupled with my CPU
aight smart i'd say think about the future what's your plan, keep upgrading or buying new and base your purchase also on that
you mean overall to buy a more powerful GPU so it would be easier to upgrade my CPU in the future?
i mean if you say imma keep this pc for 3 more years and then do a full system upgrade then you can go with an RX6600 or something as it would be cost efficient now but it would give you the extra power you need
but if you say next year i wanna upgrade my CPU then it might be a good idea to buy a stronger GPU rn and then upgrade CPU so you won't bottleneck it forever
i feel like i'll keep this processor for around 3 more years i mean as long as it can keep high end games and by far i think it can
by that i mean cyberpunk and maybe some new releases
wait
im dumb
i've literally answered what you've just said xd
haha that's good right
damn even this video showed up on my youtube rn xd
How do you make the right decision when purchasing a GPU when they have become so competitive now that we can actually buy them. The facts you need to know and a few surprises are waiting for you in this video.
Want to know more about my test bench:
https://youtu.be/0RhDIadb52A
was it important for my RAM memory to be the same of the GPU like my ram is DDR4, but the both GPU's (3060 and 6600) are GDDR6 (overall i can't remember if this was important)
no gpu's run a gen ahead
but 2 gens ahead ain't a problem?
by watching this video I've kinda concluded i would select the RX6600 mainly for the price and for the fact as the person in the video said it ,,If you're strictly gaming the RX6600 probably all you're going to need''. I don't to video editing, graphic design and other stuff at least not currently and not sure if i'll start. I mostly play video games and programming code.
the only other issues is that i'll probably have to replace my PSU as well
issue*
yeah that can happen but PSU's are alright in price imo
rx6600 sounds alright, also someone said rtx 2060S, that's also decent and you get nvenc which is fun if you want to record gameplay
you can always use replays to download gameplay it's an opensource recording software
