My out of warrenty inspiron 3501 doesn’t turn on not matter if it’s plugged in or not, when ever I press the power button a solid amber/orange colour light appears and then disappears once I stop pressing the power button. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to give in and get a new laptop?

orange light normally indicates faulty ram or missing ram, what ram do you have? have you tried using 1 of each stick and booting? have you tried new ram?

It only has ram stick and it uses a DDR4-3200 sodimm
And i don’t have any spare that are compatible
