As far as I know, all methods to use here, whether it be accessing the phone data or controlling the phone externally, involve having some kinda access to the phone. Because you gotta turn on certain control settings or grant permissions. The screen is completely unusable?

The phone itself turns on but the screen is completely dead, no power to it

All solutions need at least some display access

#

AFAIK your only option is to get the screen replaced

What killed the screen?

There are replacement parts of various quality from dubious to OEM for that phone for around $60 - $100.

Depending on how valuable the data is to you a repair shop could probably swap one in for you.

I have no clue, today earlier it sometimes didnt want to turn on and stuttered, after the battery emptied I started charging it and noticed the screen had stopped working, giving no signs of life

Is it possible to connect some random screen to my phone just to get my stuff out?
You'd have to enable external displays, from your phone screen sad

They make you confirm anything external from the phone for data safety unfortunately

#

Are you sure it's just the screen that's dead?

#

Like you know it's powered on?

depending on where youre at, im in the US, you can look for chill shops that have the spare screen and can just temporarily connect the working one, transfer your stuff, and then put your broken one back on. I cant imagine it being super expensive but yea it does risk your privacy a bit

Thank you all for the help, the problem just fixed itself randomly and the screen now works.
