I'm using a usb-c to usb-a wire to connect my ps5 controller to my pc, but every time i connect it a windows notification appears saying:

This cord should work because when I attempt to use other usb-c to usb-a cords it just charges the controller, so its not capable of transferring data

High chance this is either a cable problem, or a USB port / problem with just this computer. I would try connecting to another computer using the same cable, try swapping the cable out for another one, or try using the cable with another device. Basically, rule out variables one at a time until you find the culprit.

i dont know why it doesnt work on my pc
ive tried 2 different usb-ports and it doesnt work on either
still says not recognized
maybe some driver stuff? idk
