its just a cable from amazon

after about a week it lookss visually worn and isnt working

#

ive had issues with multiple cables

#

everything was fine till maybe a month ago

We're any of them the original apple cable?

no

#

the one was only charging when the phone was dead

#

i think 2 did actually

#

my previous cable was working fine for upwards of a year then started having issues

#

it wasnt an apple or anker cable ither

I would try a cable from one of the above sources.

if it keeps happening then it's probably a damaged female port.

i've found some cheaper cables can just break, because of a worse quality coating on the connector it's self.

If it has wireless charging I would almost use that instead anyway

Yeah it's possible that it could be dust or a misaligned pin, try something thin like a floss pick
