if i was you i'd go for rx 6950xt

#

cheaper than some models of 4070s sometimes even

#

plus the 6950xt has more vram

pretty much everything outside of pure rasterization performance

isnt 6950xt verrrry power hungry?

6950XT:
15% faster in rasterization at 1440p (non-RT gameplay)
16GB VRAM

4070:
power efficiency (almost half the power draw, depending on the model)
RT, DLSS, AI, CUDA

#

and you can also overclock the 6950xt so im too sure how valid that last bit is

#

to a much greater extent as well depending on the model you get

if you only care about raw performance in gaming, 6950xt no brainer, otherwise the 4070

#

possibly, but not by much i'd say

#

besides it would look worse in some aspects

#

plus not many games even have dlss implemented as far as i know

FSR is in more games then dlss isn't it?

#

I may be wrong

icy eagle
#

because its easy to implement or something

steep valley
#

FSR has come a long ways I know that. Now I can hardly tell the difference, specially on quality settings.

if only games, rx is better

#

its not a selling point

#

or a valid one at least

#

unless the majority of the games you play are those 20 or so games that even support DLSS3

#

in raster the 4070ti is close to the 6950xt

#

compared to the 4070 it’s 30% more money for 15% more performance, VRAM remains at 12G
