Thats not my point, why spend $1200 on a 4080 when you could have gotten a decent 1440p monitor and a little cheaper card such as the 7900 XTX

My RTX 3060Ti now gets up to 90FPS in certain scenes in Fortnite with RTX on (I do have DLSS on balanced), but a 4080 is definetely overkill for 1080p60, even with RT. You could get a 1080p240Hz monitor, that would fit your 4080 much better. Or go for 1440p like the other people suggested 🙂
