I'm having an issue with my Intensity Pro 4K where anything it captures has laggy video, is delayed by a second, and also has really messed up audio and I believe the issue is that the Link Speed according to the Desktop Video Setup software for the capture card says it's running with only 1x lane, even though I've plugged it into my computer's 2nd 16x slot, which is an 8x slot pinout wise

PC Specs if needed:
Ryzen 7 3700X
ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 X570
32GB OLOy 3200Mhz
3070 Ti
Intensity Pro 4K
1TB Samsung SSD 980 NVMe
500GB WD Black NVMe
4TB Seagate HDD
2x 1TB Crucial MX500 1TB SSDs

and to add onto it, my friend has the exact same capture card, but for him it shows up correctly as 4x and not 1x

I have tried putting the capture card into two other computers and they wouldn't recognize the capture card at all, both Windows and Linux would not see it so its weird it only works on my main machine

and I put the capture card into the first 16x slot where my GPU normally would go and it would still only see it as a 1x width not 4x like its supposed to

this card has worked before with zero issues and I did message Blackmagic tech support and they told me its a bandwidth issue and closed the ticket

any help really would be appreciated, can provide more info if needed

I have also updated my BIOS to the latest version and tried to see if I could do anything in the BIOS to try and remedy the issue and I couldn't get anything working from there

Its either an issue with the card or your motherboard are any pins on either damaged?
