Hi, I need help with 12VHPWR 90° cable/adapter. I have Gainward RTX 4080 GPU. I was thinking about the CableMod 90° adapter but I´m afraid of 3 points where it can fail (GPU, adapter cable side and PSU). Second option is this cable https://eustore.cablemod.com/product/cablemod-basics-rt-series-12vhpwr-90-degree-pci-e-cable-for-asus-and-seasonic/ with 2 points of possible failure. What is the best option? I need for powersupply 3x8 PCI-e. For now I have it like this for 8 months (I know it’s not safe) with no problem.

Personally I'd avoid using cable extensions for high-wattage GPUs like that. Too much risk involved
So direct 90 degree cable will be the best option? Sad thing is that there isn’t that many options how to solve this.
I don’t care that much about aesthetic. I just don’t want to burn it down.
Anything that goes between your PSU cable and the GPU itself is an extension. Don't use anything, especially if you don't care about visuals
Ok, thanks. I will order this direct cable. It should be fine.
Just the bend is not nice. Lets hope it will be fine.
As long as this is for your exact power supply, it should be fine
I'm confused though, what's the problem with your current setup?
The bend on the adapter is not good. Or it is? The bend is too close to connector.
Looks fine to me. Take another picture from the top-down
I’m now 400km away from home so I can’t. Thanks for help. I will be back Monday so later I can send picture.
Perhaps I’m just paranoid seeing many burned adapters. It is fully inserted so it should be fine.
That is so totally fine
Thanks for confirmation. I had probably luck with this adapter.
