I'm not sure about netherlands but the 6950xt is very very cheap right now same with the 5800x3d and ram, storage are the cheapest they've been in a long time

#

@glass lake 4k in what games

glass lake
#

Yeah, want a bit future proof build

#

Games like, watch dogs, spiderman, f1 2023. To get a perfect experience visual wise

#

but the case is, if i want to play a game with a nice storyline thats intenser on my gpu/cpu that releases in two years, i would like to be able to play that game

sinful rose
#

do you really need 4k though?
me personally I haven't really played games at 4k but I'm playing on 1440p and it's great it's a lot less of a hit on performance too and it means you'll be able to play those newer games a bit more

glass lake
#

yeah i have a really hard time choosing what i want tbh

sinful rose
#

a good 4k monitor is gonna be hellla pricy too
if you want 4k 120hz that's gonna be like €1k+

glass lake
#

yeah, but i dont need 4k 120hz lol, just 60 is prob fine

#

but yeah in that case 1440 144hz is better prob

sinful rose
#

60hz will not be enjoyable

#

screen tearing and hella unsmooth

glass lake
#

but alright 1440 p then

#

i thought getting a am5 cpu and ddr5 was a good idea, for being future proof

sinful rose
#

it is
just a bit pricy

glass lake
#

true, but if i dont need to change every part when upgrading, it depends

#

But is there any wrong or overpriced shit in my build? I tried to stay away from nvidea gpu's and intel cpu's

sinful rose
#

I'd change the cpu cooler to a noctua u12

glass lake
#

u12 or nhd15?

sinful rose
#

which one is cheaper for u

glass lake
#

only the u12s is cheaper but thats prob too small

#

also under 2000 why not just go for am5

#

am4 dead platform anyways

glass lake
#

solo, what woyld you do

hardy delta
#

and 7700x beats the 5800x3d

#

you said you were getting the 7900xtx for 999?

glass lake
#

yeah

sinful rose
sinful rose
#

meaning the transfer speeds are gonna be very slow

hardy delta
#

then sn570

#

6950xt plenty capable

#

7600 matches the 5800x3d in games and has an alive platform

#

if you wanted the 7900xtx build then one sec

glass lake
sinful rose
hardy delta
hardy delta
#

if you really wanted dram then sure samsung evo

sinful rose
#

I mean if you're gonna spend 2k euros on a pc you may as well have a good ssd lol

hardy delta
#

ml240l cheaper than ak620 damn

#

its usually like 20-30 more than ak620 (at least in the states)

hardy delta
#

all within budget

glass lake
#

so what am i giving up mobo wise? and why ddr5 6000 cl36 instead of ddr5 6000 cl30?

hardy delta
#

oh you could totally go with cl30

glass lake
#

and mobo wise?

hardy delta
hardy delta
#

giving up usb c mainly

glass lake
#

alr

#

I’d go with a 360 AIO or a dual 120mm tower cooler for the 7700x they’re not really too cool especially if you wanna do any kinda OC

glass lake
#

any affordable recommendations? @raven urchin

Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE CPU Air Cooler, 7 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler,Dual 120mm TL-C12B V2 PWM Fan, AGHP 4.0 Technilogy, S-FDB Bearing, for AMD AM4 AM5/Intel 1700/1150/1151/1200, PC Cooler https://a.co/d/eRTPVIB

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler, Dual Tower 6 Heat Pipe, Dual 120mm TL-C12C PWM CPU Fan, for AMD AM4/AM5/Intel LGA 1700/1150/1151/1200, AGHP Technology, Aluminium Heatsink Cover https://a.co/d/288ICCU

#

They come in white and rgb too

glass lake
#

alr thanks

raven urchin
#

People swear by their 360mm aio that’s like $70 but idk

#

Seems a little cheap for a 360

glass lake
#

and noctua ? what is your opinion on thay?

raven urchin
#

Over priced but very high quality

#

Are you wanting to use them for case fans?

glass lake
#

I dont really know, i might like some rgb, but just minimal. And idk what's reasonable. I dont want 600 different types of software for rgb

#

but they are great looking

raven urchin
#

You don’t most rgb fans will work with motherboard software

#

These are pretty good if you’re not using them to push through a AIO

glass lake
#

they are white 😦

raven urchin
#

You can get em black

#

Click on the listing and it’ll show loads of different configurations

glass lake
#

ah alright

raven urchin
#

And if you don’t want rgb they have black non rgb also

#

I have that same Fractal Design case the dude above listed tho that’s black it’s a great case with loads of airflow

#

Mines white tho. It comes with 4 pre installed rgb fans so you don’t really need any extras

glass lake
#

yeah, i was thinking about the north

#

from fractal

raven urchin
#

I stand by anything Fractal makes they have good products

#

And great support

mystic kite
#

anything noctua is overpriced

sinful rose
#

no it's not lol

mystic kite
#

yes it is lol

#

when it gets outperformed by products half or a third of the price it most definitely is

hardy delta
#

peerless assassin is $35 and outperforms some noctua coolers

raven urchin
raven urchin
#

And similiar performance to the NH-d15

hardy delta
raven urchin
#

For $40 lol

hardy delta
raven urchin
#

The thermal right phantom spirit is the best air cooler in the market for the price tbh

raven urchin
#

$40 for a dual 7 tower heat pipe cooler. Very hard to beat

glass lake
mystic kite
#

understandable

mystic kite
pearl flax
#

What about the Jiushark jf13k diamond

mystic kite
#

so even as rad fans they're solid

raven urchin
#

Yea and they’re about the same price with rgb

mystic kite
#

cheaper

#

at least in the US

raven urchin
#

They just don’t doing very fast. Tbh me personally for a rad fan I like at least 2000rpm

mystic kite
#

if you're sff its good

#

otherwise a traditional dual tower will outperform it
