I usually get 8ms when testing my connection with ookla, but recently in OW2 and some other games i've noticed my latency is 100+ everywhere, so on ookla speedtest it is now 50-60 ms down, and 200ms up.
The ISP is the usual Globalconnect, but they somehow connect to Albanian services.
When i use the VPN to connect at home in Norway(oslo)to game, the games show me lower latency, but ookla is even worse at 75-230ms then.
#Why is my PC connecting to albania? i've used a VPN to connect there, but i even deleted the VPN app

The location thing isn’t always accurate but it’s possible your isp is doing maintenance on some lines and your being re routed and most likely a vpn won’t help with this
Hey @vivid obsidian,
If your problem is still going on then your try dns clear cache command.
- run "cmd" As admin
Then
- type
ipconfig/flushdns
Otherwise when you open network there is always option to restore everything in networks to defaults.
It seems to have reverted to my normal location now, 8ms on ookla, and normal 30-40ms on EU servers, as it should be.
You think my computer used my latest vpn location as a normal connection point because of maintenance?
It seems to have solved itself, i have no idea how, i'll keep this in mind for next time. Thanks 🙂
