Hey, I want to set up wifi at our vacation house in another country so my family doesnt have to use mobile data and be limited to that or pay high.

Does anyone know how you can do that?

I've heard from some other people who have their houses arround too, that they bought some wifi thing that provided them like, idk, 1TB of wifi.

Yeah seems weird and I dont know who told me that so I cant figure it out by asking.

Thank you for any help in advance!

That sounds like a mobile hotspot. Still mobile data this way so price might not be any better. The other option would be setting up a plan with a local ISP that services the location for either cable or fiber internet. This may also not be feasible when talking about short term stays. You'll either be paying for a month subscription or starting and stopping service constantly.

I'd say it depends on how much data they need. You may be able to get a cheap fiber or cable connection for limited use and just have the monthly subscription, which could be cheaper than mobile data.

This (the black one) looks like a hotspot that takes a cellular SIM card, and is probably your best option. The other things you've listed are access points or routers, which still require a working internet service from an local provider to be any good.
