So I just ordered this rgb extender so that I I could get more ports and I needed them but now I think I fried it

is there burning traces?
like melting ?
if you forced plugged it may have fried it , i suppose you dont have a way to test if the power still delivers through it ?

it turns on , but the rbg isnt functionning it's probably your cpu fan rgb connecter that died FinanaThink
