slightly scratched smartphone battery

I'm currently repairing my dads phone, but while i was trying to get the battery out i slightly scratched the battery "foil" on the left

Can I still use it or do I need to replace the battery?

if you dont see any cuts underneath should be fine, there are many layers of a battery the foil is one of the covers. if you need a baterry in perfect condition send it back then
