I just bought a new Teamforce mp34 2tb ssd to upgrade from my old wd external ssd that was only 200 gb. I have formatted the drive and it stores files and stuff fine. I went to bios and configured the boot order to the new ssd and plugged in the windows usb drive and it all works fine letting me type the activation key and stuff like that until I get to where to download… I’ve disconnected my other drives by this point and just blank. Nothing. It doesn’t detect anything. The partition I made for the new ssd isn’t getting detected and I really need help.
#Windows setup not working.

keep your teamgroup in there and remove everything else. the use the bootable usb to install your media
normally you can keep the rest of your drives but i just want to make sure you install it on the right drive
That's the exact steps I did.
I removed my drives, plugged in the usb, and turned on the pc.
reinstall the usb media, they can get corrupt if you cancel a install midway/pc goes to sleep while install
Where would I reinstall it from?
I'm just using the whole windows package like the one that comes with a usb with windows already.
Also how would it be corrupt
It can detect the other drives just fine
their media creation tool
i dont understand why you bought windows if your old ssd already has windows on it, the motherboard keeps your windows key permanently. it doesent dissapear if you buy a new ssd
i thought you were building a new pc which is why you bought the key for
its a one time use, if it downloads then is cancelled the files no longer work so reinstalling it fixes it
But I don't understand how it's not working
I doubt it's corrupted if it detects my other drives fine except this specific one
you never told me that
I did
right here
oh didnt see
I didn't I've had this key for a while.
have you check on a new different ssd? could be that the ssd is just doa
What is doa?
Would that stop it from writing and reading because I can still put files in it and take them out?
Also should I have left the drive in it's uninitilized state?
That's how it was when I got it would it have been better to leave it like that and then just boot from it and hope that it shows up?
I do have another drive but should I also try actually running an app or game from the drive too to see if it's dead?
you can check it using crystal disk info but i dont think it will show up
