if you are getting the same performance at 1440p as 1080p then you have hit a cpu bottleneck.

if not its probably the scheduler being crap and loading things on to the e-cores

fresh install of windows 11 version 22h2 has the scheduler fixes sadly does have to be a fresh install.

if its just an upgrade the scheduler does not always get fixed.

the odd thing about it is that it some times runs how it need to and the all of a suden

yeah that is the cpu scheduler derping and moving things to the e-cores for some other background process to run on p-cores.

the old windows 10 cpu scheduler also use to love to shove everything onto the first core (core 0) then once it got overloaded it would start to dump things off it - I had to constantly stop my games from using core 0.
