k
once saving in bios try going back into bios and dose it check what speed
and where are you getting the 4800 speed readout
task manager and from the bios
taskmgr dont trust that for clock speeds i had it say 6.08ghz when i was at 4.1ghz
bios says 4800
and can you send photo of bios settings
what do you do next?
odd
When i save and exit it says nothings changed
And settings are the same when i go back to try and change it
load defalts in bios then enable xmp in oc setting
starting with default bios and then restarting pc, going back into bios setting it back to 5600, works. but as soon as i restart my pc again it goes back to 4800.
ive had 2 people tell me that its just unstable
motherboard knocks it back down automatically because its unstable?
so im not sure..
where do you set it on the main screen or in oc settings
in overclock settings
try loading default setting the try setting xmp
Ok ima try it
task manager now says 5600
it seems to be fixed for now, after restarting pc it stays on 5600..
now run stess test
i just set speed to auto btw
ill do y cruncher
do the 4 of them
oh okay
How long should i stress test lin pack
base frequency shows 2800 for each ram stick
speed about 2 hours for each that will be fine and mabye just let hci run over night
and 2800mhz that sound noraml
okay great thanks for your help
when ram is ddr4-3200 its runnig 1600mhz and most dimm have many jedec bin loaded onto them
I dont really know what that means💀
(double data rate) ddr the nuber like ddr5 4800 runs at 2400mhz
