Why is the hard drive making this weird beeping sound? It worked before I took it out of the laptop albeit wouldn’t boot into Windows. Laptop model is Acer Aspire 4732Z, smells like cat piss and super hot to the touch which is why I took the hard drive out in the first place, once I plugged it in my computer, I could see the partitions and copied an entire partition to my computer and left it since the copy speed was unusually slow, then I came back and noticed my PC didn’t read the hard drive anymore, plugged it in my laptop, nothing showed up then it started making the beeping sound. Put it back to the laptop it came with, same result.

The clicking is not a good sign either. That drive is almost certainly dead or on its way out
