i made a post earlier about this but it talked about a much broader problem. when i use it i get only 30-40 watts in geforce experience overlay. Every time I restart it it is capped at a different wattage. It says that it it using 100% of the gpu on the geforce overlay but in task manager it says its using 10%. when i try to auto tune the gpu (i suspect this to be the issue because it is i cannot set the powqer max to 100% see video). It says that i cannot do an auto tune when gpu is in high usage how can i fix this?
#3060 ti is being power capped

specs? updated drivers? manually increased power limit in afterburner?
make your video an mp4
did you check event viewer for criticals/errors?
The system on a fresh wipe and has had no setting tweaked. 5600x, 32gb @3200, 3060 to
3060 ti
This has happened every time I have used this card
I am in contact with nvidia to find the culprit
what is your psu spec
is this a new gpu or you have had it for a while? nvidia support is useless they never give an answer
New gpu
i would do rma
I already have replaced it
so you have had two 3060ti's with the same 30-40w issue?
Yes
Idk it’s an nzxt 650w
I have a h1
I also have replaced the riser with a pcie gen 4
thats a pc case
Yeah it has a built in psu
so its a prebuilt and you upgraded the gpu, its not built in, you can remove it
what was your old gpu
1650
since you replaced two gpus i would think the issue is with other components not nvidia
I’m pretty sure it’s a software bug because I am stuck unable to change the max power draw on my card because GeForce experience will not change it if it is at its current max usage
if you did a clean whipe how can it be software?
i mean it can be a version issue
@molten idol have you tried a new power supply?
isnt that just a tuning test? have you tried afterburner?
im not familiar with after burner but heres what it looks like
