Lmao everything is alright you don't have to delete it
Is it alright? I’ll post it then
WIP of my office/ battle station. I started by re-painting the room, tore up the old carpet and put hardwood, got a rug, and installed a pink chandelier. I also added blackout shades for the window.
The chandelier is RGB and app controlled. It was originally a normal chandelier, but I got some smart home adapters and RGB bulbs from overseas
Then I DIY’d the outlet, switch, and phone jack plates
Next, I’m assembling a hot pink motorized L shape gaming desk… I’ll post more updates as I work on it
and you deleted that? It look sick asf
Keep in mind that there will always be better, but there will always be worse
Thanks! I actually completed the RGB sit/stand desk assembly, but I’m holding off on cable management until I have my monitors, gaming chair, and PC all put together!
I am using the little blue Cinnamon Roll case to hide my stash of RGB remotes 😂
Also, for anyone interested in this desk- It is by far the best one I ever bought. The surface is carbon fiber and it’s hard to leave fingerprints. The pink color is very bright, and RGB gives the monitor riser a nice glow. It also has 3 programmable heights! The motorized legs are white (which is hard to find), and the assembly itself was possible for a very small and physically weak woman like me haha.
Just one note for assembly. The original instructions state to assemble the desk upside down (wood on the ground, metal legs pointing towards the ceiling) and then flip it over. I did not have the physical strength to do that, so I changed the instructions a bit. I assembled each leg with the wheels separately, flipped them upright, attached them to each other to form the metal desk frame, and then started building the desk pieces on top of the frame. I did most of the screwing and attaching from underneath the desk that way!
The only part I built in the intended manner (as in, upside down with the wood on the ground) is the monitor riser shelf… But I only did that because the shelf itself isn’t too big or heavy. If I had attached the actual desk top pieces to one another before moving it on top of the frame, they likely would have broken, since the connections between the wood pieces prior to screwing them down to the frame are quite flimsy.
Hope this feedback helps for any other physically weak noodles who don’t have stronger friends around to help with a standard desk assembly procedure ☺️
your setup aint even done but it already look coler than mine
Those pinks look tasty.
My next goal is to get one of those bath and body works wall flowers so it smells as tasty as it looks >w<
