My guess is it’s the 1600, as that’s a pretty underpowered cpu for your gpu

Any benchmarks I can run, that you know of, to know for sure?

Well, I was gonna say that’s what it was for sure, but it’s not at 100%

ryzen 5 1600 for that gpu only?

Thanks for trying to help anyway.

#

@haughty bramble I upgraded my GPU recently, since it was the weakest link.

now your cpu is the weakest link, i would check your ram utilization though, @sly lagoon some games now require so much ram that 16gb plus all other tabs open isnt enough

@haughty bramble There will always be a weakest link.
I checked that before. Here is a screenshot

for example i play beamng which is pretty cpu intensive game if your on singleplayer its uses around 18gb of ram

@haughty bramble So, in your opinion, it's the CPU mainly. Does the MOBO and RAM look okay?

motherboard and ram is fine

#

the speed is slow but that is ok, wouldent cause you to stutter

#

most people have 3600 kits

I hope you're right. I already spent 250 on the GPU and now I'll have to spend 150 on a CPU.
I'd hate to have to keep buying components like this, until I can finally play stutter free.

@haughty bramble No, I'll check it now.

#

@haughty bramble I don't know what I'm looking for.
Can you read event viewer?

#

I tried playing a game to see if anything new pops up in event viewer, but there was nothing.
