I also have some good news from myself: I sent in my CPU for replacement because when building my first PC back in may, I dropped the CPU into the socket from like 2mm above the socket and it bent a few pins that I later identified as RAM pins. My dad and I looked at it and he said it was fine to put the CPU in. It did work, but over the next two months, my RAM died twice, so I sent the motherboard in for replacement. Got a new, better board while I was waiting for my board and used my PC normally (also OC'ed my 12700K to 5GHz all-core and had the RAM at 6000 (XMP/EXPO profile is officially 5600, but I turned that back down to the stock 5600 again). A few weeks later, my RAM died yet again despite having a known good socket. I really hope that I can now go on without killing more RAM. I got the CPU today, that's the good thing

I also have some problems with my PC, likely the power supply's faulty because as you might already know, my RAM died four times in the exact same fashion: the stick in slot B2 was always the one that failed, except for the first time where both sticks were taken down, but the one in A2 was sort of functional, working only with XMP off. It's been a month now and I still haven't come around to replacing the power supply. I sent beQuiet a RMA request a month ago but haven't done anything for a month now, I kinda feel bad for just ghosting them

@flint garnet I'm into racing drones, the expensive ones and with those we store all the batteries in ammo cases because of how volatile they can be, I've been out flying and one of my dads work mates came in to land and the battery went up smoking luckily we got the battery off before it went up in flames and took the rest of the drone with it, the same apples for tool batteries the rule of thumb is store them in a ammo case or fireproof battery bag, and never charge them while you aren't in the room. I have a grannyflat in my backyard that has been retrofitted as a workshop and we only ever charge batteries while we are in the building
