A reformat would be the easiest if you can afford to do it. Do you have any other administrator access?
whats a reformat?
Like factory reset
ok ill try rn
Good luck, soldier
Is this a school computer or something?
yo
its my own pc
my step dad fucked it up
i held shift while restarting it didnt work
kk
Yeah gotta hold shift before you do any clicking
"fucked it up" or "withheld your admin access to stop you from doing sketchy shit" ?
||Aren't those the same when it's your computer? I'd be looking to get rid of any parental controls myself. Parents can't stop me.||
Depends who paid for it / How old they are
Fair, although I'd be trying to figure it out on my own rather than asking for help ig
If you're old enough to jailbreak it yourself then you're old enough to deal with the consequences/deserve the jailbreak
imo

If salmon wasn't on a mobile device, then if he doesn't come back for a long time then he probably got it to reset lmao
or killed it
Possible lmao

rip
For future reference, this is probably not the sort of "Support Request" that should be handled here.
Yeahhh that's kinda what I was getting at
As in "This sort of request should not be handled by anyone here. Period."
Good point, I suppose it's out of the realm of general support given the context. Although, if it were his device and we didn't think (since we also currently don't know) that it was a parental controls situation, then it would still be okay to say "Just reset to factory" imo
my step dad fucked it up
This is all he said, and that doesn't really mean much. Obviously, if we start talking about tools that pull passwords or bypass security entirely then it's off the deep end, but I've had many people with their own laptops do something that messes it all up and need to reformat.
net user administrator /active:no
or yes to reset other passwords
or if loca l
net user CHANGEME PASSWORD
that will change the password
This sort of request should not be handled by anyone here. Period.
<solution> that will change the password

||I know how to fully jailbreak a chromebook, and no, I'm not telling any of ya.||
||It's easy, you get the key off the guard and then open the cell.||
It's way easier than that
Locksmith can do it in 0.23 seconds.
The school gave us our chromebooks but never removed their access to them [locks damn near every setting including factory reset]
In 5m I yarr harred my self through the crappy pc and now it's mine along with it's 15GB [10ish useable] of storage
I keep it as a backup if my laptop kicks it
Yeah I remember doing the same with the OG chromebooks a while back
