They should be labeled
They are (some aren't) but it has 2 heads
Idk where the second head goes
For motherboard it had 2 heads
Make sure to only use the plugs with the PSU it came with
Yep its new so I separated its parts
What PSU?
Ok. That big one you have there appears to plug into the motherboard one
The other spot labeled motherboard?
???
But its stuck
Do I pull them apart and put it there?
I can’t see anything in that photo really
I got it
Just needed to separate the wires
I'm not going to need all the cables right
Also, you need to plug the dangling one into the connector beneath the big one in this picture
What are they labeled as thou
Huh?
Name for eg
There's one labeled as cpu written on iy
It
I found pcle
The rest aren't labeled
Are you looking at the right end of them?
Looking at any side that had letters
I found another cpu for some reason but that's abt it
Its labeled on the psu just not on the cables
I also found a second PCLe
The manual aint helpful since it doesn't include pictures
Well, the labels on the cables are what you need to concentrate on, then
And also their shapes
Alr where does the pcle go on
To your graphics card
Majority of the time it is the only device that needs PCIe power
Plugs into VGA, because, you know, graphics card
Alr
So Ig I don't need the second cpu and pcle since I don't have 2
I have these 3 left
You might not need all the cables as well
The dude in there also told me that I'm using the wrong screwer for mb
Which one is right?
Size
The ones on the right are for fans
For the cooler fans (connected to cpu) that go to the top?
Those go to the CPU fan header on the motherboard
@snow python psu fan up or down?
Down
Na I just took a pic of it now
You're going to regret not having plugged in CPU power earlier
I did that for my older psu but all cuz the psu was bad I had to replace it
But
PCle where does it go
Into the connectors
Also it is an i, not an l (PCIe)
Stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect express
I see
But it had 3 holes wit 1 separate
So I add em up and put it there?
Where it matter which side they go?
No
I can't find where the cpu cable goes in lo
If only I could put the cpu cooler fan to the front instead of top
Accessing the motherboard would've been so much easier
Top left of the motherboard
I believe it goes there but not sure
Oh ok thanks
Check your motherboard's manual for locations of all the connectors
And also, watching the LTT build guide on how to build a PC would've been very helpful beforehand
Cable manage it better then
Accidentally pulled it out and can't push it all the way now
@snow python good enough?
No, must be fully connected
I did
Finally done
It turns on
New problem tho

@snow python
So yeah
Red blink wit bep bep sound
Something's shorted somewhere turn it off and take everything apart ig
Shorted where?
Somewhere 🤷
Might be a stray standoff somewhere in the case where something shouldn't be, maybe one of the PSU cables is in backwards, maybe a dropped screw somewhere
Dude stop turning it on lol
Take everything back out the case before it shorts out, a protection system fails and kills a component
I'm tranna identify where the sound is coming from
You mean like everything?
Well, yeah
The clicking is a relay in the PSU turning on and off most likely
I thought it was the gpu since its the only one not running on and making sound
Yes psu
