I recently sold my Gigabyte 5700XT Gaming OC 8GB to someone after having used it for 3 years without any issues. The person who I sold it to is saying they are having a lot of issues with the GPU related to random crashes (only being able to work 5-10 min according to him) and even a fresh install of windows for him isnt working. Apparently he said his PC works with a GTX 780 but not with the 5700XT. Im not too sure if its a BIOS thing, or if it could be something software related. I'm fairly well versed in PC building and most software things but this one has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated!

I should add that the computer is able to POST and get to windows and that this is appearing under the Event Viewer
Vga is usually the gpu/pcie/m.2, at least for the post sequence. Idk for event viewer
That’s what I was thinking too. Usually indicates that it isn’t seated properly but I have no idea why it’s appearing in event viewer when he wouldn’t be able to get that far in the first place
